Matt Bailey is an adventurer who lives life to the fullest. Having grown up in a small Northern Canadian mining town, Matt developed the desire to explore the world. After finally taking the leap and visiting New Zealand, Australia, and Indonesia on a solo five-month backpacking adventure back in 2009, Matt’s life changed for the better. Once a relatively shy play-it-safe kind-of-guy, Matt ended up sky-diving from 15,000 feet, bungee jumping off the Auckland Harbour Bridge, abseiling into caves, hang-gliding over the ocean, and scuba diving with sharks. By experiencing new things and challenging himself, Matt developed the courage to never let fear hold him back. Since then, he and his wife have explored over 250 cities, 38 countries, and six continents, all the while challenging their fears and trying new things.
Matt’s worldwide adventures have also inspired him to complete a massive 100-item bucket-list, which included things like speaking in front of 400 people, acting on stage, eating a tarantula, being interviewed on live television, writing a book, and hosting a travel show. He writes about world travel, making dreams happen, and his new 100-item bucket-list at LiveLimitless.net.
Matt’s also a travel expert for Canada. Despite his wanderlust for visiting the world, he’s also passionate about his home country, creating both the website mustdocanada.com and Canada’s Road to 150, a 150-day multimedia road trip documentary that went from coast to coast to coast in 2017. Through this web series and his website, Matt focuses on Canadian adventures and helps people plan their trip to this Northern Paradise.
